I started writing when I was nine in Primary School and was told to write a story about an evil rhinocerous. Bonecruncher was a very naughty rhinocerous who did 'evil things just for the fun of it'.
Getting to use my imagination through writing was a breakthrough, and led me to study a BA in English Literature with Writing at Anglia Ruskin University, where I was awarded First Class honours, and then a Masters in Poetry at the University of East Anglia, where I was awarded a 2:1.
Fast forward to now, I am a freelance copywriter based in Norwich, looking to cultivate a client base in both commercial and non-commercial pursuits. As a self-starter, I have self taught the fundamentals of copywriting, from SEO to consumer brand interaction.
My jab to the jaw is this: are you one hundred percent certain you are operating at maximum efficiency? Words are one of the easiest things you can use to communicate to your clients. Words can operate under the radar, worming their way through a portion of text until they've eaten right through and fully infiltrated it. Before you know it, words can do some hard hitting damage.
And when you're trying to attract new clients, that's GOOD.
